The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO), the women's business center at Black Hills State University, will host the monthly Women in Networking (WIN) lunch at the Spearfish Holiday Inn Swarm Room Tuesday, Dec. 9 from noon to 1 p.m.

WIN is a membership-based group that provides networking opportunities for women.  "Networking is essential to our professional and personal growth. To grow in our careers and in our lives, we must connect with others who will "stretch" us and support us as we move forward in our respective journeys. In essence, networking is one of the key ingredients to creating compassionate, courageous and 'connected' professionals," says member Dr. Priscilla Romkema, dean of BHSU's School of Business and Natural Sciences.

Meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday of the month.  Members are welcome from any community in the Black Hills and may bring a door prize to promote their business.  To celebrate the holidays the December meeting will feature networking and a festive holiday atmosphere.

No commitment to membership is needed to attend the first meeting.  Registration for each monthly meeting is $15 and includes lunch. Individual memberships are $40 and business memberships are $65.  Either can be completed through online registration at www.BHSU.edu/SDCEO or by phone at (605) 642-6435.

The SD CEO is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The support given by the U.S. Small Business Administration through such funding does not constitute an expressed or implied endorsement of any of the components or participants' opinions, products or services. SD CEO operates under Cooperative Agreement SBAHQ-14-W-0018. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance
